Texas CHL (Concealed Handgun License) pre-registration Required - NEXT CLASS - Feb 18th
Classes are held on Saturday. Classes are booked at least one Saturday per month with a min. of 5 students.
Private CHL instruction is also available at a higher cost per student. This class is required by the State of Texas
as part of the application to carry a concealed handgun in Texas. We offer both original license and renewal
classes for handgun qualification. This is not a class on how to use or shoot your firearm. If you require this type
of training you will need to take our Basic Handgun Instruction class. We do not handle your application,
photos or finger prints. Click on the DPS link above for your application. You can obtain pass port photos at
Wal-Mart, Walgreens or the post office. Make sure you get your photos before your finger prints. The person who
does your finger printing will need to sign the back of both of your pass port photos.
The original license course is approximately 10 hours which is completed in one day. The renewal course is
approximately 8 hours which is completed in one day. On class day plan to arrive at 7:45am to sign in. We will meet
at the shooting club house back at the range, you will check in, pay dues and proceed to classroom for instruction.
Classes are a combination of classroom instruction and shooting on the range. You will be required to qualify at
3,7 & 15 yards. You will need 50 rounds of ammunition for shooting. You will be required to bring hearing
protection and shooting glasses. We will provide targets. You are given three opportunities to qualify. You must
qualify with a .32 caliber handgun or larger. If you are qualifying to carry a semi-automatic you will be able to carry
a semi-automatic or revolver. If you qualify with a revolver you can only carry a revolver.
This class is not a firearms instruction class. If you require basic firearms training, sign up for our basic class. You
must be able to safely and properly use a handgun before you take this class.
Original License course $ 100.00 per applicant Renewal $ 75.00 per applicant
Upon making payment for class you are signed up. You will receive an e-mail with directions, class time and other
important information. No refunds on class fees paid or reschedules allowed. Your payment reserves a spot for

This course is designed to take the handgun enthusiast from beginner to novice with one day's instruction. The
student will become both comfortable and knowledgeable with his or her handgun and be instructed in basic
safety, maintenance, marksmanship, handgun and ammunition types. Course is conducted primarily on the firing
range. Course is approximately 4 hours in length.
Basic handgun class is held the first Saturday of each month.
Course Cost $ 100.00 per student - We must have at least 6 shooters signed up to take this class. If we do not
have 6 shooters signed up the class will be postponed until the next month.
One on One instruction also available. The 6 shooters sign up does not apply for one on one instruction. Contact us for details
all payments are due in advance.

Basic Defensive Handgun (Basic Handgun Instruction course recommended prior to this course)
This course is designed to introduce the average novice shooter into the defensive world on the defensive use of
a handgun. This course assumes basic handgun skills have already been learned. The student will be introduced
to basic defensive drills to train him or her to defend themselves with a handgun. Some of the skills to be taught
include; safety, firearm/ammo/holster selection, handgun presentation from holster, increased speed shooting drills
and basic malfunction clearing. Course length is approximately 6 hours.
Classes are held on the first Saturday of each month. Check our calendar.
Course cost $ 100.00 - We must have at least 6 shooters signed up to take this class. If we do not have 6
shooters signed up the class will be postponed until the next month.

Texas Hunters Education Class - pre-registration required (NO CURRENT CLASSES SCHEDULED)
We offer Texas Parks & Wildlife hunters certification class for rifle hunters. Cost of class is $15.00 per student. If you have a child
who is attending the class and does not have a car the parent must be on time to deliver and pick up the student. Class is two
days. Saturday 9am - 3pm and Sunday 9am - 2pm. Check schedule for dates. No refunds for cancellation or any other reason.
